Shira Kahn

Shira Kahn is the Executive Director of the Herzl Institute. Prior to joining the Institute, she served as the Director of the Overseas Program at Nishmat. She has also held leadership roles as the OU-JLIC Co-Director at Princeton University and as a lawyer and researcher at the Kohelet Policy Forum.

Before passing the Israeli bar, Shira interned at the State Attorney’s Office. Alongside her legal career, Shira has continued her Torah studies through various programs, including the advanced Halacha program at the Migdal Oz Beit Midrash. She also served as a guide for Livnot U’lehibanot and Masa Israel.

Shira holds a BA in Law from Bar Ilan University.
